I found this website and I'm very interested to program a bot for the intellectual challenge.
A few questions:
python, is version 3 supported ? which version runs on the server ?
allowed file size:
I want to use precalculated lookup tables for hand euqities and things like that (to speed up the bot a lot).. but they can get quite big. What is the maximum file size that is allowed for a bot ?
how does the competitions work ? are they restarted every year ? Dont want to code a bot only to find out the competitions dont run anymore..
btw: awesome website, nice work!

We use Python 2.7 for the bots. The allowed file size is a bit hard to determine exactly because several factors come in to play, but you have a few Mbs.
Each competition is ran indefinitely, but finals (with prizes) will only be played once. So the first Warlight AI Challenge and Heads Up Omaha will not have any more prizes, but the other competitions do, on dates that will be announced later.

What is affecting the file size available for the bot? Do different languages have different disk sizes available due to libraries etc? Which language has the most free space? E.g. it's obvious that some of the top go bots have pattern libraries on how to play certain corner sequences. A larger pattern library would mean a stronger bot. So is it possible to get some more specifics on what "a few MBs" means?
Pretty please. :)
