I'm new to theaigames. I'm trying to get a simple bot working in Clojure. All the bot should do is output a test-like message for Four-In-A-Row.
Here's the code:
(defn -main (println "place_disc 3") (let [scanner (java.util.Scanner (. System in))]))
(The let-construct isn't doing anything yet - on purpose).
That's it. I created this analogous to the Clojure starter bot, the only difference being the namespace name. The source file is simply called main.clj.
To the best of my knowledge, this isn't any different to the starter bot and so it should work. But it somehow fails the input test (no output). The error dump remains empty.
What am I missing? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance wartron

Take a look at Clojure the starter bot for Warlight2: http://theaigames.com/competitions/warlight-ai-challenge-2/getting-started. The more complete version is here: https://github.com/curious-attempt-bunny/warlight2-starterbot-clojure.
