Hello there Ladies and Gentlemen,
Can I hook my bot up to a database running on an external server? Or can I use files (so does the bot have writing permissions and is the file consitent)? I'm asking because I think an AI should be able to learn from previous encounters.
Or does someone have another idea how to solve that problem?

For now, this is not possible on the server. You only have read permission to what you have uploaded and no write permission at all. This might change in the future however. If you want your bot to learn stuff you could take the Omaha engine from our Github page and modify it to play Texas Hold 'em (change a few settings). Then you can run a lot of matches locally. The actual engine for Texas Hold 'em will be released soon.

No, this cannot be done. Bots run in a closed environment and have neither file system access nor network access.
