I just uploaded a new version of my bot, and did a test match against someone else's bot. As I was watching the game towards the end, I noticed that my bot didn't take the win when only one move was required to do so, something it's programmed to do, even at 2 ply depth (even 1 for that matter, but I use 2 when short on time). In addition, I programmed it to spend more time to calculate an extra ply whenever it has it available, but it doesn't seem to be using it. I double-checked the position with my local version, and sure enough, it found the winning move and played it, even at 2 ply depth.
Is the site sporadically using older versions of the bots, or what might be the problem in this case?

Have you checked that your active version matches your latest version from your profile page? It doesn't update that automatically.

Yeah, that was probably it, thanks.
