Hey Devs, was wondering if there was any way we could get a "test again" button enabled for our bots after we upload because I'm having problems with my bot crashing on the test games. I'd rather press a button instead of reuploading, & I was hoping I could just requeue only until the C# issue is resolved.

Oh Damn.. I think it is happening with every single one of my games.. #fail.. :( I so wanted to spend some time altering my bot.. I guess I'll have to wait until this bug is fixed.
I thought it was a result of the timing but it isn't. I find its happening 80% of the time just with my test games.

Yup, it's happening to about 2/3 of my games now and I can't check test results either

We'll do a full server restart tomorrow, hopefully that will solve the issue.

Did that already happen? I noticed the matches stopped for quite a while, but the first 2 games for a bot I just uploaded both crashed :(

We haven't done a restart yet. I've forced some matches to quit since they were running for a few hours already and were jamming the match queue as a result.

Gotcha. Any ideas yet what's causing the C# bot crash issue? It seems to slowly be getting better, but now it looks like I'm getting games that my moves are executing a turn after they were supposed to be sent

Also, does my bot stop getting queued up if it crashes? It's been hours since its last match...

Can verify the reboot didn't seem to fix it. Earlier, in these two games (http://theaigames.com/competitions/warlight-ai-challenge/games/5357f1b04b5ab23ee61a81dc, http://theaigames.com/competitions/warlight-ai-challenge/games/5359852a4b5ab23ee61aa418) and today in this game, my output was out of order according to the /dump (it sent the attack/transfer move when place_armies was required and vice versa).
My latest two testgames went like this:
settings your_bot player1 [...] setup_map neighbors [...] 42 Not running yet (write) pick_starting_regions 2000 8 6 11 12 17 15 23 21 32 36 42 39 Timed out Parse error: Region id input incorrect (Timed out) Parse error: preferred starting regions: Chosen region is not in the given pickable regions list (Timed out) settings starting_armies 5 update_map 11 player1 2 17 player1 2 42 player1 2 10 neutral 2 12 player2 2 13 neutral 2 16 neutral 2 19 neutral 2 20 neutral 2 27 neutral 2 32 player2 2 36 neutral 2 40 neutral 2 41 neutral 2 opponent_moves Round 1 go place_armies 2000 23 21 12 11 39 42
As you see, my bot's output is received quite out of order.
My test games both reported around 6 seconds of required time, which seems to comply with what you said in the other topic.

The server has been rebooted. This should solve the issue, if not, please let me know

Actually, I can't say for sure because I don't know what the timestamp on that game above was and I haven't had that problem since

I'm curious: we're there many bots that were still running and taking up resources when you reboot? I'm wondering how many bots aren't exiting gracefully, or hanging when they crash...

Yup.. I'm starting to get it again too.. :(
